My Self-Paced Learning

Self-Paced offerings allow you to learn at your own pace and are available as eStudy, eSeminar and Offline events:
  • eStudy: computer based training designed for self-study.
  • eSeminar: a recording of a live brodcasted event.
  • Offline: learning conducted using downloaded materials and other resources.
Some Self-Paced offerings may also include collaboration events such as Chats and Forums to supplement your learning. Chats are on-line discussions held in chatrooms with other classmates enrolled in the same offering. The Forum, also associated with the offering, is a web-based bulletin board, used to post discussion topics and messages.

When you enroll in a Self-Paced offering you are automatically subscribed to any Chats and Forums tied to that offering. Once enrolled, click the Title to view the details of the offering and to launch the content. While you can launch your enrolled offering at any time, Chats and Forums may only be available on certain times and days. The Self-Paced offerings you enroll in are displayed on your Self-Paced Learning page with the most recently accessed offering also listed on the Overview page.

Click the Play button to automatically launch the offering into the player. The player uses streaming video, audio and other web playable media. If you log-out of a session before completion, a marker will indicate where you left off. Click the Play button to resume, and the player will launch into the same topic you were viewing when you exited.

When you have completed the offering and any related assessments you can print a certificate of completion from the Transcripts page. To search and enroll in other offerings select the Catalog tab to access the Search and Browse Catalog or theAdvanced Search feature.
